Columbia, S.C. – On Saturday, Sept. 25 the USC equestrian team will open SEC competition against the Georgia Bulldogs, who have won national champions for the past two years. The competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.

The only action the Gamecocks have seen this year is a scrimmage against Berry College last weekend. USC declared victory with a score of 933 points, defeating Berry by 115. Georgia, who opened their season last weekend, recorded their first victory against Berry College.

“I feel the scrimmage helped us to figure out the things we needed to work on and better prepare us for the season,” said Head Coach Boo Duncan.

The Gamecocks will return home to One Wood Farm, in Blythewood, on Oct. 29 to host Auburn. The competition is set to begin at 9:00 am.
