Columbia, S.C. –
The following letter was issued to Gamecock Club members regarding the changes in traffic flow to the Colonial Center due to construction near the area:

Dear Gamecock Club Member,

We are writing to inform you that due to the construction of a new building between Park and Assembly Street, there are some roads around the Colonial Center that are closed and will not be able to be used. Please use the information below as a guide for travel to and from games and other events at the Colonial Center.

Greene Street, between Assembly and Park will be closed for the Georgia game and possibly the Tennessee game. We are expecting it to be open by the Vanderbilt game.

College Street, between Assembly and Park and including this intersection, is expected to be closed for the remainder of the basketball season.

Park Street, between College and Devine, will be closed for the remainder of the season; however, the intersection of Greene and Park may possibly be open by the Tennessee game and is expected to be open by the Vanderbilt game as mentioned above.

If you have a parking pass for the D.O.T. parking garage, you will not be able to enter the garage from College Street by turning off of Assembly. The College Street entrance will be open but may only be accessed from Lincoln Street.

If you have a parking pass for E Lot, College Street will not be available for entering if coming from Assembly Street. You may enter Lot E on College Street by turning off Lincoln. It is recommended that when leaving the game, College Street to Lincoln Street would be the best way to exit. An exit from Greene Street is possible, but due to pedestrian traffic, you cannot exit onto Greene and turn back towards the Colonial Center for approximately 15 minutes.

Those parking in Lots A, B, C, D, and the University Foundation Lot will be affected by the closing of Greene Street as mentioned above.

Until Greene Street is opened back up for traffic flow (expected by the Vanderbilt game on January 26), cars will be allowed to exit by using Gadsden Street behind the Colonial Center.

We apologize for any inconvenience and delays you may experience due to these closings and encourage you to adjust your driving schedule accordingly. With only 8 home games left in the Colonial Center, we hope you will be able to cheer on your Gamecocks in all of them. Please remember that the Colonial Center will be opening 90 minutes prior to tip-off!

Go Gamecocks!
