The USC equestrian team will travel to West Texas A&M in Amarillo, Texas this Sunday, February 20th for the first match-up ever against the Lady Buffs.

“We have never competed against West Texas A&M before, but I know they have a strong western team. The equitation over fences course looks to be a challenge for us on unfamiliar horses”, said Coach Duncan.

After a narrow loss to the defending national champions, Georgia, two weeks ago, the Gamecocks are hungry for a win.

“Our jumping performance as a whole against Georgia two weeks ago was not very strong and usually jumping is out strongest event. I am hoping for a weekend with very few mistakes. If we can do that, we have a good chance to come out with a win”, Duncan said.

The USC Gamecocks will compete at West Texas A&M at a time to be determined on Sunday, February 20th. Results will be available at www.uscsports.com
