The South Carolina Equestrian team will ride against the College of Charleston at 1pm Saturday, March 19th. The competition will continue until approximately 4pm. The Gamecocks will host the meet at One Wood Farm in Blythewood, SC.

The USC Gamecocks have spent the last three competitions traveling and are eager to compete at home. The team hopes their home field advantage will help provide the much needed win they have been trying for. The Gamecocks are currently 2-6.

South Carolina is one of two states (the other being Texas) that has more than one Division 1 equestrian program. The Gamecocks compete english style as well as western. Unlike USC, the College of Charleston has a single English riding team. This is the first time these two teams have met in this particular format.

Riding for South Carolina are:

Equitation Tara Brothers Kristen Terebesi Kelley Campbell Claire Sharp Jess Boll
