COLUMBIA, S.C.- Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive announced Thursday 13 University of South Carolina Equestrian athletes to the 2005 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. The honor roll is based on grades from the 2004 Summer, 2004 Fall and 2005 Spring terms. The Gamecocks topped the complete list with 89 athletes.

Equestrian athletes on the honor roll are senior Kerrie Reeves (Greer, S.C.); juniors Courtney Borton (Bridgeton, N.J.), Ashleigh Collins (North Charleston, S.C.), Chelsea Koornick (Roswell, Ga.), Laura Pipken (Hampton, Va.), Ashley Williams (Blythewood, S.C.); sophomores Jessica Boll (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Tara Brothers (Bend, Ore.), Kelley Campbell (Richmond, Va.), Ellen Hogate (St. Charles, Ill.), Carly Johns (Woodstock, Ga.), Caitlin Sands (Lebanon, Pa.) and Rachel Sternoff (Redmond, Wash.).
