Brno, Czech Republic – – Getting her first starting assignment of the tournament, South Carolina rising senior forward Olga Gritsaeva scored four points, grabbed six rebounds and was credited with four steals in Russia’s 85-65 defeat at the hands of Italy in the final game of the preliminary round at the FIBA European Championships for Under-20 Women Sunday.

The loss was the first of the tournament for the defending-champion Russian squad, who will open the round robin portion of the second round Tuesday when it plays Turkey.
