The preseason game between the Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs scheduled to take place in Columbia at the Colonial Center on Wednesday, October 12, now has an earlier tip-off time. The teams couldnt wait to make their South Carolina debut, so the game will now begin at 7:30. Tickets with an 8:00 game time will be honored at the game on Wednesday, October 12, at 7:30 PM.
The Colonial Center, Philadelphia 76ers, and San Antonio Spurs regret any inconvenience the time change may have caused. The University of South Carolina’s Athletic Department is the primary operator of the Colonial Center. Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm which owns the Wachovia Center, the Wachovia Spectrum, the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Philadelphia 76ers, manages over 46 facilities worldwide, and has been selected by USC Athletics to manage the Colonial Center.
