COLUMBIA, S.C. –
South Carolina volleyball (10-8, 3-5) will host the first of four home matches beginning Sunday afternoon, when USC will take on the Kentucky Wildcats (12-7, 5-4) at 1:30 p.m. at the Volleyball Competition Faciltiy.

The Gamecocks are hoping pick up their fourth straight home victory of the season and extend the 3-0 home record. This marks the first meeting between the two teams this season as the Wildcats are currently ranked second in the SEC east. USC leads the series 16-15 and have last the last two matches to UK.

Last season, the Gamecocks were swept by the Wildcats in the series, marking the first time since 1993. Prior to those losses, USC had won eight straight against UK.

Kentucky is coming off of a 3-0 loss to Tennessee Friday night, while the Gamecocks were off. USC last earned a victory last Sunday when they defeated the Auburn Tigers and picked up their first conference road win of the season.
