“It just felt good to be back, I was looking to come out and play hard. I’m just trying to bounce back to where I left off.”
Junior F Melanie Johnson:

“Basically I was just trying to bring what I bring to the table, work within the offense and make everyone one else look good too.”
Junior G Stacy Booker:
On what she takes away from the exhibition:
“It’s kind of like another practice, we’re trying to find each other like in practice. We’re trying to get things together and right for the season.”
Head Coach Susan Walvius:
On the game:
We aren’t executing everything and we’re trying to try different things. We’re looking at new stuff, new lineups, we’re playing a lot of people. It’s a practice game, it’s a learning experience. I saw some jitters in our team and we’re looking for players that can step up and execute in critical situations. We’re going to be okay, and we’re going to be a very good team this year. I was encouraged by the first five minutes of the game today. We executed well and I thought we made good decisions.”
