With its 65-60 win over Alaska Anchorage in the first round of the Great Alaska Shootout on Thanksgiving night, the Gamecocks advanced to the winner’s bracket. USC will play Monmouth University (N.J.), who defeated Southern Illinois University 80-68.

Carolina and Monmouth will tangle at 12 am (EST) on Friday night on ESPN2 nationally.

Friday the Gamecocks will eat breakfast at 9:30 am prior to going to Barlett High School for a shootaround/walk-through from 11:30 – 12:30 pm.

USC is now 3-1 all-time in the Great Alaska Shootout.
