Santo Domingo, DR – South Carolina’s Dominique Archie continued his fine play scored five points and blocking two shots in SCORE International’s win over Hato Mayor on Tuesday night. Archie left the game early with an slight ankle sprain and is listed as day to day.

Mike Mercer of Georgia put on a shooting show for the crowd, shooting an astounding 15-18 from the field including 6-9 from behind the arc. Aaron Johnson of New Mexico and Piotr Stelmach of Miss. State each had 15 rebounds to lead the team. Defense was the emphasis of the night for the SCORE International all-stars holding Hato Mayor to 29% shooting for the game and limiting their scoring to just four points in the fourth quarter.

The team will have one more tune up game with the professional team La Romana on Wednesday before playing the Dominican national team on Thursday.
