COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Equestrian added another western rider to its 2006 roster as Beth Tevepaugh, from Davidson, N.C. committed to head coach Boo Duncan and the Gamecocks. Tevepaugh is a two-time American Quarter Horse Association Youth ROM Champion.

“Beth will bring her horsemanship talents with her this fall,” said Duncan. “Her successes in the state competitions in North Carolina will make her a great addition to our team.”

A two-time Blue Ridge Quarter Horse Association Congress Team member, Tevepaugh has compiled an impressive resume. She is a three-time BRQHA 13-under Youth All-Around Champion, a six-time AQHA Youth All-Around Champion and a nine-time AQHA Reserve All-Around Champion. She is also a Congress finalist.

A graduate from North Mecklenburg H.S., she is a McKissick Scholar, a North Carolina 4-H Horse Scholarship Recipient, three-time Who’s Who Among America’s High School Student selection, and a National Honor Roll Inductee. In addition, she is a Gold Member of the North Mecklenburg Renaissance Program and is a member of the National Society of H.S. Scholars.
