COLUMBIA,S.C.–South Carolina’s Yevgeny Supeko and Pedro Campos captured the Flight A-1 doubles title Sunday afternoon in the USC Fall Invitational. The tandem picked up two wins over ACC foes today en route to the championship.

Competing together for the first time this weekend, Supeko, a junior, and Campos, a freshman, were in sync. The Gamecock duo topped Clemson’s Carlos Alvarez and Paul Koenke, 8-5, in the semifinals to earn a meeting with Andrew Brasseaux and Cory Parr of Wake Forest in the finals.

In their third match of the day, Supeko and Campos went ahead two service breaks and hung on to go ahead 7-6. Supeko turned in a strong serving performance in the final game and South Carolina defeated Wake, 8-6, for the title.
