WINDERMERE, Fla.–The University of South Carolina men’s golf team shot 304 as a team in the second round of the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational on Monday at the par 72, 7,544-yard Isleworth Golf and Country Club. South Carolina slipped into a tie for 13th on the team leader board with a two-day total of 596 (+20).

The 18-team field at Isleworth features 10 teams currently ranked in Golfweek’s Top 25.

Freshman George Bryan IV (Chapin, S.C.) is South Carolina’s top individual in a tie for 12th. Bryan followed Sunday’s one-under par with a three-over 75 on Monday. Sophomore Warren Thomas (Columbia, S.C.) carded the best round of any Gamecock today with a one-over par 73. With a total score of 74-73=143, Thomas is one stroke back of Bryan and tied for 22nd on the current individual leader board.

Junior Mark Anderson (Beaufort, S.C.) shot a second-round 77 and trails Thomas by one stroke. Anderson owns a total score of 71-77=148 and shares 33rd on the individual leader board.

Freshman Paul Woodbury (Lake City, S.C.) is tied for 73rd after rounds of 76-79=155 (+11). Sophomore Baker Elmore (Cheraw, S.C.) also carded a second-round 79 and is tied for 78th.

Texas leads the field with a two-day total of 294-285=579 (+3). Other SEC teams and their spots in the standings include Florida (third), Kentucky (fifth), Georgia (T-6th) and Tennessee (T-6th).
