IRVING, Texas —South Carolina senior Ryan Leeton is one 11 student-athletes named to the Conference USA Men’s Soccer All-Academic Team, the league office announced today. Leeton also earned first-team All-Conference USA honors earlier this week.
Leeton, who hails from Midland, Texas, is an accounting major at USC. He has served as a team co-captain in each of the last two seasons and been a staple on defense for the Gamecocks during his career, starting 56 matches. In 2006, he two-time all-conference selection has scored three goals.
A Dean’s List student at South Carolina, Leeton won the team’s Academic Award for the Junior Class and also made the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2005.
