ATHENS, Ga. —Junior Yevgeny Supeko picked up wins in singles and doubles on the second day of the Bulldog Scramble in Athens, Ga., at the Dan Magill Tennis Center. The event will wrap up on Sunday.

Supeko defeated Jakob Klaeson of Ole Miss, 6-4, 7-6 (3) in the Red Draw. Supeko will face Allesandro Picardo of East Tennessee State on Sunday.

In the doubles Black Draw, Supeko and freshman Pedro Campos teamed for the win. By defeating Daniel Isaza and Sebastian Serrano of East Tennessee State, 8-5, the tandem ran its fall record to 5-1.

In the singles Black Draw, Campos dropped a 6-3, 6-3, decision to Bram Ten Berge of Ole Miss and Carolina freshman Spencer Feldman fell to Predrag Burmazovic of ETSU, 7-5, 6-1.

The Gamecocks suffered a pair of singles losses in the singles Silver Draw. ETSU’s Ricardo Rojas defeated redshirt sophomore Thomas Stoddard, 6-3, 6-3. Carolina junior Joe Veeder fell to Daniel Isaza of ETSU, 6-1, 6-3 .

In other Red Draw action, freshman David Wolff could not get past ETSU’s Allesandro Picardo, falling by a score of 6-3, 7-6.

Feldman and Wolff fell to Burmazovic and Picardo of ETSU, 8-5, in the doubles Silver Draw. Stoddard and Veeder lost an 8-6 pro set to Georgia’s Gonzalez and Hunt.
