On the team’s overall performance:
“I thought that our team had some really great moments offensively. Our transition offense was very good tonight; we were able to get some higher percentage shots. As a coach you have to be pleased, especially when you come out in the second half and shoot 58 percent from the floor.”
On Kellindra Zackery:
“She will be very special to this team; there is no question about that. She brings something to our team that we haven’t had; that’s real size and power attacking the rim. She was heavily recruited and we are fortunate that we have her here. The thing that impresses me the most about Kellindra is how coachable she is, she is one of the most coachable players that I have had.”
