USC Coach Susan Walvius<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

“I think this win will earn us a postseason appearance, at the minimum NIT, so I’m proud our team has that under our belts. Our sights were set on that.”

“I thought we had some great performances today. We put it in our seniors’ hands. There was a little bit different starting lineup in the game today. We didn’t put Stacy Booker in the starting lineup, and she responded extremely well to that. She was the one senior that didn’t get to start today, and she stepped up and had a huge game. Stacy was a warrior today. She did a fantastic job making some good baskets, wanted the ball in her hands, wanted to shoot free throws and played with a lot of poise.”

“<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>Auburn’s a very good basketball team. They’re one of the better penetrating teams we’ve played against, and they were able to get some scores to get right back in the basketball game. We had some key defensive stops down the stretch.”

USC Guard Stacy Booker

“Since this is my last year and five more seniors are on the team, we just want to play hard and try to get into the postseason.”

“A few games ago I would hit a three, and that would be the only three I hit. Today I hit two threes and just kept shooting. When they came out at the three, I’d drive past them for a layup.”

On making a key three-pointer late in the game

“I knew that shot was going in to be honest. I felt that shot was going in.”
