Senior Brandon Wallace, who led the Gamecocks in blocks and reounds this past season, scored 10 points, going 5 of 8 from the field and pulled down nine reounds, with two steals and three assists in 19 minutes of play in his team’s opening round of play at the Portsmouth Invitational in Norfolk, Va.

Wallace’s team, Sales Systems, which includes David Teague, who scored 18, lost to CHERRY, BEKAERT & HOLLAND 82 – 77.

Wallace’s team plays again Friday against Norfolk Sports Club at 3:15 pm.

The tournament last through the weekend and is one of the opening camps for outstanding seniors looking to make the NBA next season.
