The proposed increases that the Gamecock Club Board approved were approved unanimously by the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee and the University Board of Trustees on Monday, May 28. Because it was a called meeting of the Board, there were media present and we expect the story to “break” today. A letter will be mailed to the entire Gamecock Nation as soon as postal service is open on Tuesday, May 29.
