Columbia, S.C. – The national champion South Carolina equestrian team has placed 19 members on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by Commissioner Mike Slive. The 2007 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2006 Summer, 2006 Fall and 2007 Spring terms.

Equestrian athletes on the honor roll are Katie Biffle (Junior/Political Science), Jessica Boll (Senior/Biology), Lisa Bourbonniere (Junior/Public Relations), Allison Bradley (Junior/Business), Kelly Campbell (Senior/Retail Management), Stacy Cell (Sophomore/Marine Science), Michelle Grah (Junior/Marketing), Katie Grossnickle (Sophomore/Retail Management), Ellen Hogate (Senior/Accounting), Carly Johns (Senior/Marketing), Sarah Lowe (Senior/Political Science), Courtney Reese (Sophomore/Psychology), Ashley Rohde (Junior/Business), Rebekah Roof (Sophomore/Business), Caitlin Sands (Senior/Public Relations), Rachel Sternoff (Senior/Nursing), Ciara Stuart (Junior/English), Kristen Terebesi (Junior/Advertising) and Lindsay Williams (Junior/Retail Management).

In the four years since equestrian has been included in the SEC Spring Sports Honor Roll listings, Coach Boo Duncan has placed 59 student-athletes on the list, averaging 14.75 per year. The Gamecocks placed 19 in both 2007 and 2006.

South Carolina has won the Hunt Seat national championship for three consecutive years and the overall championship in 2005 and 2007.
