George Bryan IV, Men’s Golf, Freshman, Chapin, S.C.

Freshman George Bryan IV was the best individual finisher as the South Carolina men’s golf team captured the NCAA West Regional title over the weekend in Tempe, Ariz. Bryan tied for 10th individually with a three-round total of 68-67-69=204 (-12), the fourth-lowest three-round total in school history. As a team, Carolina also set a school and course record with its score of 820 (-44). Bryan is one three South Carolina natives to compete for the regional title team along with juniors Mark Anderson (Beaufort) and Warren Thomas (Columbia).
