Student-athletes from the South Carolina men’s and women’s basketball teams will participate in the S.C.O.R.E Kids Fest on Sat., Sept. 22 from 11 am – 1pm at the Plex Indoor Sports Facility at Sandhills Mall in Northeast Columbia. The Gamecock basketball teams will be in attendance to speak to youth about the important role physical activity plays in a healthy lifestyle, play with the kids and sign autographs.

The purpose of the Kids Fest is to provide educational activities for youth that promote physical activity. S.C.O.R.E.S’s, Southern Charitable Organization for Recreational Entertainment, mission is to help fight childhood obesity in South Carolina.
