The University of South Carolina men’s soccer team has climbed two positions to No. 23 in the most recent (Oct. 9) edition of the CollegeTimes.com Coaches Poll. The Gamecocks are also receiving votes in the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches of America) Top 25 Poll and the CollegeSoccerNews.com Top 30 Poll. Carolina most recently defeated Florida International, 3-1, on Sunday to improve its overall record to 8-3-0, including a league-best 2-0-0 mark in Conference USA action.
South Carolina returns home this Saturday to host Tulsa in a nationally-televised (tape-delayed) broadcast on CSTV at 7 p.m. at Stone Stadium.
