UPDATED FRIDAY DRAW SHEETS
The University of South Carolina men’s tennis team will host the USC Fall Invitational this weekend, Oct. 12-14, in Columbia. More than 200 players representing 36 schools will participate in the event. Play begins at 9 a.m. on Friday and continues through the weekend. Flight finals are slated for Sunday afternoon.
The Invitational will feature seven singles flights and six doubles flights and matches will be played at four locations in Columbia – the Gamecock men’s team’s Sam Daniel Tennis Facility, the Maxcy-Gregg Tennis Center, the Columbia Tennis Center and the USC Indoor Courts.
Eight Gamecocks will compete in the event.
In the A-1 singles bracket is the No 2 seed Pedro Campos, followed by No. 4 Ivan Cressoni, Johannes Pulsfort and David Wolff in the A-2 singles flight. Completing the USC singles competitors is Thomas Stoddard, Joe Veedeer and Chris Sheehan in the B-1 flight.
In the doubles competition, No. 3 Campos and Cressoni will join forces in the A-1 flight along with the team of Pulsfort and Jamie Cuellar. Wolff and Stoddard and Vedeer and Sheehan will compete in the B-1 doubles flight for the Gamecocks.
