• The overall series between the two schools is tied at one game a piece. The Gamecocks defeated the Bears 64-59 on Dec. 9, 2006 in Waco, Texas.
• The game against Baylor was South Carolina’s first home game since playing Campbell on Nov. 28, 2007 and first game since a 68-67 victory over Providence on Dec. 6th, 2007 in Philadelphia.
• Dominique Archie has started all 40 games played in his career at USC. Archie scored in double figures for the 3rd time this season and the 17th time in his career.
