• The Gamecocks improved to 2-0 against Radford. The Gamecocks won 90-69 in the first meeting played between the two teams on Dec. 30, 1995 in Columbia. Coach Dave Odom is 4-0 against Radford.

• Coach Dave Odom won his 400th career game. Odom is the 29th active coach to win 400 career games as a head coach. He is already the winningest coach in the SEC and is one win from tying former Gamecock coach Eddie Fogler with 123 Gamecock wins.

• Dominique Archie has started 43 consecutive games. Devan Downey, Zam Fredrick and Archie are the only three Gamecocks to start in every game this season. Evka Baniulis made his first start of the season and it was his first start since Feb. 10, 2007 against Georgia. Sam Muldrow made his 8th start of the season with his last coming against Baylor on Dec. 19, 2007.

• The Gamecocks have hit a 3 in 181 straight games dating back to March 2, 2002. They have also had a block in 99 straight games dating back to Jan. 15, 2005

• Zam Fredrick recorded 9 points in two of his last three games but tonight Fredrick had 9 points in the first 9:57. Fredrick scored 14 of his 26 points in the first half. It was the 11th time this season that he scored in double figures and the 4th time this season that he recorded 20+. The last time he scored 20+ was on Dec. 22, 2007 when he scored 21 against the College of Charleston. Fredrick totaled a season high 8 assists on the night. He has at least 4 assists in 7 games this season. His previous high was 7 vs. The Citadel on Nov. 12, 2007. Fredrick went 5 of 10 from beyond the arc. His 5 three pointers tied his career high against the College of Charleston on Dec. 22, 2007. Fredrick has at least 6 rebounds in 5 games this season and has at least 6 in 4 of the last 5 games. He tied his season high with the 7 rebounds. (7 vs. Penn State on Nov. 22, 2007)

• Dominique Archie has at least 5 rebounds in 11 of 13 games this season including 9 games in a row and has at least 7 in 7 games this season. Archie grabbed 4 of the teams first 6 rebounds tonight. Archie tied his career high of 10 rebounds vs. Lipscomb on Nov. 19, 2006. Archie scored in double figures for the 6th time this season including the last 4 games. Archie has shot at least 6 free throws in 4 of the last 5 games. Prior to that stretch, he shot no more than four in a game. Archie recorded 2 blocks on the night against Radford. He has at least 2 blocks in three straight games and 8 combined blocks. The 11 points and 10 rebounds gave Archie his 2nd career double-double. (Lipscomb on Nov. 19, 2006)

• The 42 points scored by the Gamecocks marked the 5th time this season that they scored 40+ before the half.

• Devan Downey recorded 4 of his 7 steals in the first half. The 7 steals is a new career high. (6 vs. The Citadel on Nov. 12, 2007). Downey has scored in double figures in all 13 games this season. He has 20+ in 5 games this season.

• The Gamecocks have at least 5 steals in 12 of 13 games this season. (4 vs. Southern California).

• Carolina has scored 70+ points in 9 of 13 games this season. The Gamecocks are 6-3 in the 9 games. Carolina scored 80+ for the 6th time this season and are 5-1 when hitting 80+. It was the 4th time this season scoring 90+ points.

• Chad Gray played a career high 24 minutes. His previous high was 21 against Kentucky on Feb. 7, 2007. Gray has scored at least 4 points in five games this season including the last 3.

• The Gamecocks had two players score 20+ points. It was the first time since Devan Downey, 20, and Brandis Raley-Ross, 20 did it against Campbell on Nov. 28, 2007. It was the 2nd time this season that the Gamecocks had two players score 20+.
