COLUMBIA, S.C. — Junior women’s basketball player Brionna Dickerson has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week. Dickerson led the Gamecocks to wins over UNC Asheville and Savannah State last week.

She was the team’s leading scorer in both games, scoring 18 points in each. Dickerson scored nine straight points when the game was on the line in the first half to key the win over Savannah State. Dickerson also shot and made career highs in free throws by going 6-of-8 against. She matched her career high with four defensive rebounds in both games as well.
