On the surge in the second half and the character of the team
“We’ve seen that fight from them. I saw them a little discouraged in the first half, and I talked to them at halftime about it. I was upset with them at halftime. I think they responded well to that. For us, we’re about to get a little deeper. Keisha has been cleared to play for the LSU game and that’s going to help us out. “
On playing Jordan Jones at the point in the second half
“Jordan was doing great. She was really running the team. I was bothered by the turnovers in the first half, and I wanted to really feed the post. That’s something we talked about during halftime. She started the half well, so we stuck with her.”
On losing consecutive games
“We want to see the kids win. We want to see them have something that we know they can have. We want them to believe in themselves and trust each other out there because they can’t do it by themselves. I want them to know that they can have success.”
