The University of South Carolina men’s tennis team continues non-conference action this weekend, hosting Charlotte from the Atlantic-10 and Davidson from the Southern Conference in a scheduled doubleheader at the USC Indoor Fieldhouse on Saturday. Carolina will face Charlotte at 10 a.m., while the match against Davidson is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. The Gamecocks ride a four-match winning streak into weekend play, having defeated Charleston Southern and Appalachian State last weekend, and Wofford and Troy during the opening weekend of the year.
In last weekend’s non-conference sweep, the Gamecocks were led by senior Yevgeny Supeko and sophomore Pedro Campos, who each picked up victories at the No. 1 singles position on the day. Returning from injury this spring is senior Jaime Cuellar. He improved his singles record to 2-0 this season, while he joined forces with sophomore Ivan Cressoni to capture a doubles victory against Charleston Southern.
