BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — The University of South Carolina men’s basketball team departed Prague, Czech Republic, Sunday morning and arrived in Bratislava, Slovakia, at 3:30 p.m. local time.

South Carolina swapped one Lokaj daughter for another before leaving for Bratislava. The Gamecocks’ tour guide Johny had Jane hop on the bus before leaving for Slovakia, while Maria stayed behind to help the Auburn University women’s basketball team navigate Prague. Maria swore to the team the night before after the game she would rather stay with the Gamecocks if possible.

The ride to Bratislava was fairly uneventful and quiet, except for a 20-minute stretch of excessive snoring by one staffer who will remain anonymous. Another staff member was seen recording footage of the scene on a cell phone and another obtained audio using a professional recorder. The ride was somewhat bumpy at times as well, resembling that of a wooden rollercoaster ride.

After about two hours on the bus, a detour was made to a mall for lunch. It was met with much delight by sophomore Sam Muldrow, who quickly noticed a sign for KFC outside the mall.

The Gamecocks take on their second opponent of the tour later this evening and are scheduled to have a tour of the city tomorrow given by Jane. The Lokaj family is originally from Bratislava.
