COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina junior Ivana Kujundzic continues to bring home the awards, as she received National Player of the Week accolades from CVU.com today.

The outside hitter compiled a .355 hitting percentage during the Carolina Challenge, leading the Gamecocks to the tournament title. The MVP of the event, Kujundzic averaged 4.36 kills and 3.09 digs per set. In the pivotal fifth set against archrival Clemson, the Subotica, Serbia, native had six kills, four of which came after South Carolina went down, 12-14, to propel them to the 18-16 match clincher. Kujundzic ranks 83rd in the country and third in the Southeastern Conference with her 3.62 kills-per-set average.

It’s the third honor for Kujundzic this week, following her SEC Offensive Player of the Week and South Carolina AgSouth Athlete of the Week awards.

The Gamecocks face defending SEC Western Division champion LSU on Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Volleyball Competition Facility.
