Opening Statement…
Obviously our run to start the second half was a key to the game and was fueled by our defense. We were able to create some offense off our defense. I thought we were really active defensively to start the second half. I thought we were active in the first half also.
On Defense…
For us, I think the difference was our defensive intensity over a forty-minute period.
On everyone getting points…
I think when it happens its good. It means everyone is contributing and the ball is being shared. We didn’t have a ton of assists tonight because we got (baskets) off drives.
On the play of Sam Muldrow…
He gives us another athletic body. He is a good player. He gives us some presence around the basket. He gave us some good finishes tonight. He’s long. He gives us some presence athletically with his length.
On the play of Brandis Raley-Ross and Evka Baniulis…
I think they have both been playing really well in the last two games. It’s not just making shots. They are doing things defensively. I think those guys are contributing in a lot of different ways for us. That’s what we need to be a good basketball team.
On team rebounding…
I think our rebounding is improving. But, it’s something we have to watch every game.
On the play of Zam Fredrick…
I thought he was terrific tonight. He brought us good leadership, defended well and he made a couple of great passes. I thought he played like a fifth year senior.

On the overall game…
I think it was a good win. I think there were points of the game where our performance could be a little better, but overall I think it’s a step. This is probably our first time winning two in a row. I know last year we never won two in a row (in SEC play).
