Today marks the third in a series of profiles on the University of South Carolina men’s and women’s golf teams. Our featured golfer for this week is freshman Taylor Weaver. Taylor is a product of Dorman High School in Spartanburg, where she earned six varsity letters. She was the South Carolina high school state champion in 2007, shooting a state tournament record 145 (70-75). She was a four-time all-state selection for the Cavaliers, and twice won the Coca-Cola Spartanburg County Women’s Championship in 2006 and 2007.
