COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Athletics Department’s first Carolina Now! event on Saturday at the Garnet & Black Spring Game capped off a successful start to the campaign designed to bring new members to the Gamecock Club. Over 100 new members joined this past week and selected their football seats for the 2009 season.

For the first time, new members can select their own football seats when they join the Gamecock Club. New members can also join at any level and purchase full book of season tickets. For more information about the Carolina Now campaign, click HERE. Since April 1, nearly 6,000 Gamecock fans have visited the Carolina Now page to learn more about this exciting opportunity.

“We are extremely excited to see so many in the Gamecock Nation joining the Gamecock Club and having the opportunity to purchase football season tickets,” Gamecock Club Director Patrick McFarland said. “Growing the Gamecock Club is a critical component in our efforts to build a championship program here at Carolina.”

The next Carolina Now event will be held in Florence on April 16 at the Florence Civic Center and will feature appearances by Coach Steve Spurrier and Coach Darrin Horn.
