The 70-69 victory for South Carolina over Florida is the Gamecocks’ first win over Florida since its upset win over then-No.6 Florida on Feb. 8, 2006.

Zam Fredrick’s game-winning basket just before the buzzer marked his second game-winning basket of the season with less than five seconds remaining. Fredrick hit a go-ahead lay-up with five seconds remaining on the clock in an 85-84 win at then-No. 19 Baylor on Jan. 2, 2009.

Wednesday night’s attendance of 12,825 was the second highest for the season at Colonial Life Arena. The highest attended game was on Dec. 30, 2008 vs. Clemson when the final attendance was 16,168.
