COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina junior forward Sam Arthur has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week, as announced by the organization on Monday. Arthur tallied two goals and earned an assist on Blake Brettschneider’s game-winning tally last Wednesday in a 3-2 victory over intrastate rival Furman in non-conference acton.

Arthur leads the Gamecocks with seven goals and two assists on the year for a total of 16 points. He has also scored three game-winning goals on the year.

South Carolina continues Conference USA play when it hosts SMU on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Stone Stadium.
