COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina senior midfielder Mark Wiltse was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week. Wiltse collected his first-career game-winning goal in the Gamecocks’ 3-0 win over Memphis last Sunday on Senior Day.

The win secured South Carolina a spot in the 2010 Conference USA Tournament. Wiltse returned in 2010 for the Gamecocks after suffering a season-ending leg injury in the 2009 season opener. He has been an integral member of the South Carolina midfield this season, transitioning to the position after playing the majority of his time in the Garnet and Black on the defensive line. The goal was Wiltse’s first of the season and the third of his career.

South Carolina travels to face Kentucky on Nov. 7 in the final regular season contest for both schools. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
