• Records: South Carolina improves to 14-9 overall, 5-4 in SEC play. Florida falls to 17-7 overall, 6-4 in the SEC. The Gamecocks are 11-2 in games played at Colonial Life Arena this season, 4-1 against SEC foes. The Gators continue to hold a 36-21 advantage in the all-time series, including a 17-13 margin in games played in Columbia; however, the Gamecocks have won the last two home meetings with Florida. The teams have split the season series each of the last two years.

• Career High for Raley-Ross: Brandis Raley-Ross matched his career-best scoring output with 20 points on the night, matching his total against Campbell on Nov. 28, 2007. Raley-Ross scored 17 of those 20 in the second half, including several crucial free throws down the stretch.
• Devan Downey: Downey topped the 20-point mark for the ninth straight game and the 14th time this year. He finished with 24 points, his 22nd time in double-figures in 23 games this season. He also racked up four steals, two assists and four rebounds, and he was 11-of-12 from the free throw line.
• Sam Muldrow: Muldrow hit for double-digits for the second time in three games with a 16-point night. He had eight rebounds to give him a total of 56 over his last five games (11.2 average). Muldrow also had three blocked shots in the game.
• Streak Continues: Though it took a bit longer than usual, the Gamecocks extended their streak of consecutive games with at least one 3-point field goal to 258 straight games as Devan Downey knocked down the team’s first trey at the 17:02 mark of the second half. South Carolina finished the game with six three-pointers on 22 attempts.
