COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ieasia Walker from the Gamecock women’s basketball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Walker led the team in scoring in both games last week, turning in her third 20-point game since SEC play began with 24 against Tennessee. She scored 19 of the team’s 30 points in the second half against the Lady Vols and led South Carolina in rebounding as well (8, including 6 offensive), making her the top rebounder in two straight games. Walker tied her career high with five steals against Alabama. Over the last three games, she has averaged 20.0 points and 8.7 rebounds.
