COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina equestrian team moved up two spots in the latest coaches poll, it was announced today. South Carolina is now ranked sixth in the bi-monthy poll, voted on by the Varsity Equestrian head coaches.

South Carolina (5-8) was ranked eighth in the latest poll on March 1, but jumped two spots from their lowest ranking of the season.

The poll will be released bi-monthly with the next announcement scheduled for March 29.

The Gamecocks return to action on Saturday when South Carolina hosts No. 10 New Mexico State at 10 a.m. for Senior Day. Seniors Hailey Thornton, Alex Foster, Chloe Gray, and Abbey Rohde will all be honored as part of the Senior Day festivities.
