COLUMBIA, S.C. – Even though the 2010-2011 season may be over for the Gamecock equestrian team, two South Carolina riders were recently featured in the media.

Junior Taylor Singmaster appears on the cover of this month’s AQHA Journal supplement, a publication widely considered to be the “Sports Illustrated” of the quarter horse world. Singmaster appears on the cover with Caper, one of the team’s horses. The photo was taken back in April at the 2011 Varsity Equestrian National Championships in Waco, TX. Senior Chloe Gray, who will graduate this weekend with a degree in Marketing, was featured the recent article, “Father and Daughter Give Healthy Horse of A Gift to Equestrians.” The story comes from the University’s Development and Alumni Relations Office.
