In the second of our series trying to get to know the Gamecock volleyball team better, sophomore Megan Kent tells Bernice Woodard of her secret talent and which outrageous movie character she’d like to be.

Who is your favorite teammate? Why?
My favorite teammate is Cara Howley because she can make me laugh even when I am really sad. She is hilarious.

If you could travel anywhere on the planet, where would you go?
I would love to go to the Bahamas. I haven’t been out of the country yet.

What was the best movie you saw this summer?
We just saw Stupid Crazy Love, and it was awesome.

If you could be a character in any movie, who would you be?
I would love to be the lead guy on “Anchorman”.

If you could trade places with any person on the South Carolina campus, who would it be?
I would love to be Scott (Swanson) for a day because he is the head coach of a college team. It would be awesome.

What’s your best non-athletic talent?
I am really good at Sudoku.

Do you have any pre-game or in-game rituals?
We just made up a team dance, so we all do it in the locker room now.

What’s the one thing you can’t leave without on a road trip?
iPod

What’s your biggest pet peeve?
People biting your nails.
