The fourth person in the series is sophomore Juliette Thévenin, who last year was an SEC All-Freshman Team selection.

And fans, don’t forget to come to Colonial Life Arena on Sunday starting at 12:30 p.m. EDT for Fan Appreciation Day. Volleyball will be one of five teams there to sign autographs and chat with fans.

Who is your favorite teammate? Why?
Kellie Schmidt because she’s my roommate right now and I’ve known her since I got here. She was really nice when I met her, so I really like her.

If you could travel anywhere on the planet, where would you go?
I would like to go to Australia because it’s really far away.

What was the best movie you saw this summer?
Soul Surfer

If you could be a character in any movie, who would you be?
Probably the girl from Soul Surfer because I think she has great character. Even when she was struggling, she kept going.

If you could trade places with any person on the South Carolina campus, who would it be?
I kind of want to be a regular student for a week to see what it’s like not to be a student-athlete.

What’s your best non-athletic talent?
I can speak five languages.

Which language do you scream out in joy in after a big play?
English, but sometimes in French.

Do you have any pre-game or in-game rituals?
I have a bracelet that my brother gave me. Since we can’t wear jewelry during the game, I put it on my ankle braces.

What one word would you use to describe your style of play?
Aggressive

What’s the one thing you can’t leave without on a road trip?
My phone and laptop
