All proceeds from the event will benefit the Palmetto Health Foundation for the Breast Cancer Program, Research and Support Services. The fundraising efforts from the event will directly impact women in the Columbia community whose lives, in some part, have been affected by cancer.

South Carolina continues practice for the 2011-12 season. The team opens the season with a Nov. 3 exhibition contest vs. Kentucky Wesleyan. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
