COLUMBIA, S.C. – Game time has been set for next Friday’s NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament Second Round matchup between No. 1 Stanford and No. 22 South Carolina. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. (ET) on Friday, Nov. 18 at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium in Stanford, Calif.
Stanford (20-0-1) advances to the second round after a 3-0 victory over Montana late Friday night. South Carolina advanced after a 1-0 shutout over Texas to set up the first meeting between the Cardinal and Gamecocks.
The winner of the Stanford-South Carolina game will play either Santa Clara, California, Marist or Boston College on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. (ET). That match will also be played at Cagan Stadium on the campus of Stanford University.
Tickets for both rounds will go on sale today (November 12) – online only — at 3 p.m. (ET) through GoStanford.com. On Monday, starting at noon (ET), tickets will also be available by phone at 1-800-STANFORD or in person at the Stanford ticket office at Gate 2 at Stanford Stadium. A sellout is expected for Friday night’s match.
