COLUMBIA, S.C. – Cara Howley from the Gamecock volleyball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Howley led the squad with a .319 hitting percentage in the team’s two wins over Auburn and Georgia. She led the team and tallied a season-best 14 kills in Sunday’s victory over the Bulldogs, while she tied her season best with six digs in each outing. The McKinney, Texas, product also made the match-ending kill on both nights.

Howley ranks third on the team in kills this year, averaging 2.14 per set.
