COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina head volleyball coach Scott Swanson wants to interact with the Gamecock fans, so he has started a new Twitter account @GamecockVBCoach and will host a chat on Wed., Feb. 8 at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Swanson completed his first season as the Gamecocks’ head coach, where he saw the team double its win total from the previous season. Swanson helped guide the team to a 45-point improvement in hitting percentage in his first year. The team also made 197 less errors over the 30-match schedule, nearly two less per set.

Fans who want to submit a question to Swanson can either mention @GamecockVolley or use the hashtag #SCVB2012. The submitted questions will be collected, and those selected will be featured in the chat.
