COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina closed out its regular season with a win over Arkansas to finish its SEC campaign tied for fourth. It is the highest finish for the program since the 2001-02 team tied for second in the league. Sharing the fourth spot with LSU and Arkansas, the Gamecocks draw the No. 6 seed in this week’s SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

South Carolina opens the tournament against No. 11 seed Alabama at 10 p.m. (ET) on Thu., March 1. The game will air on Fox Sports Net/SportSouth. The winner of the contest will advance to take on third-seeded Georgia at 10 p.m. (ET) on Friday, also on FSN/SportSouth.
