COLUMBIA, S.C. – There will be a team send-off for the South Carolina women’s basketball team as it travels to its first NCAA Tournament games since 2003. The Gamecocks will leave on Thu., March 15, from the Elephant Room entrance of Carolina Coliseum on Park Street. The team is scheduled to depart between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m.

South Carolina opens play in the NCAA Tournament on Sat., March 17, against Eastern Michigan. Tipoff in West Lafayette, Ind., is set for 11 a.m., and the game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
